Angelina Jolie Makes Big Donation to NAACP on Her 45th Birthday

Angelina Jolie has announced that she has made a big donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and she also released a statement on the work the organization is doing.

The Oscar-winning actress, who is celebrating her 45th birthday TODAY (June 4), donated $200,000 to the organization.

“Rights don’t belong to anyone group to give to another. Discrimination and impunity cannot be tolerated, explained away or justified. I hope we can come together as Americans to address the deep structural wrongs in our society,” Angelina said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. “I stand with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in their fight for racial equality, social justice, and their call for urgent legislative reform.”
