NBC Denies That Gabrielle Union Was Threatened By Exec Paul Telegdy

Gabrielle Union filed a discrimination complaint against America’s Got Talent and the show’s producers, and now NBC has responded to the lawsuit.

The 47-year-old entertainer, who served as a judge on the show last year, accused NBC exec Paul Telegdy of threatening her for speaking out against racism on set.

“The allegation that anyone involved in this process threatened Ms. Union is categorically untrue,” NBC said in a statement (via Deadline).

“We took Ms. Union‘s concerns seriously, and engaged an outside investigator who found an overarching culture of diversity on the show,” the network added. “NBCUniversal remains committed to creating an inclusive and supportive working environment where people of all backgrounds are treated with respect.”

Gabrielle‘s husband, basketball player Dwyane Wade, has released a statement in support of his wife.
