K-Pop's Amber Liu Addresses Pregnancy Rumors & Hits Back at Haters: 'I'm Done Being Nice'

Amber Liu is speaking out.

The 27-year-old f(x) member and solo star spoke out in a message on Friday (June 5) amid backlash for previous comments about police brutality, as well as addressing ongoing pregnancy rumors.

Late last year, Amber apologized for comments about police brutality after seeing a viral video of a black man harassed and handcuffed on a subway platform by white police officers for eating a sandwich. Those comments have since resurfaced amid the ongoing global protests against police brutality and systemic racism.

“I am so sorry. I saw a video clip, made an ignorant, snap judgement, and I majorly messed up,” she said at the time.

“This is f–king stupid. If you want the truth, STOP JUDGING THINGS OUT OF CONTEXT. I’ve been saying for YEARS that I am not perfect and I make mistakes. I truly mean my apologies, and I’m trying to be better. I can’t make it anymore clear on where I stand. But this? RIGHT NOW? I’m f–king done being nice, so I’m not gonna waste my time trying to explain ANYTHING to you haters targeting me and twisting things to fit YOUR narrative,” she wrote.

“I don’t care if you believe me anymore cuz I’m too busy trying to do my part to fix this country, actually do s–t, educate myself, and be better. If you don’t like or believe me, f–king unfollow me. Stop wasting my time, telling me to kill myself, and stop distracting people with bulls–t because there are BIGGER ISSUES GOING ON IN THE WORLD. Focus your energy on something more productive. Come back when you ACTUALLY want to have a constructive conversation, cuz I’m doing the research and would LOVE to talk about BLM…or don’t, whatever…this is not the time. And I am not pregnant so SHUT THE F–K UP,” she continued.
