Kendall Jenner's Pepsi Protest Commercial Is Being Recreated at BLM Protests

It has been three years since Kendall Jenner was under fire for that Pepsi protest commercial and now people are recreating the ad while attending protests for Black Lives Matter.

In that commercial, Kendall is seen leaving a modeling gig and walking to a protest, where she hands a can of Pepsi to a police officer. The police officer takes a sip from the can while the protesters cheer him on.

The commercial was pulled and the brand released a statement in which they apologized to Kendall.

A viral photo has been spread on Twitter showing a protester offering a bottle of Pepsi to police officers, who are seen in riot gear. It does not look like the soda was accepted.

“I can’t believe someone actually did it,” Twitter user @PeaDeeKay tweeted along with the photo.

Here’s what Kendall had to say when she addressed the controversy, months after it happened.
