'Midsommar' Director Ari Aster is Working on a Four-Hour 'Nightmare Comedy' Film

Ari Aster is teasing his next movie!

The 33-year-old director of Midsommar and Hereditary teased some info about his upcoming project, saying that he just finished a draft of a new movie, calling it a “nightmare comedy.”

“All I know is that it’s gonna be four hours long, [and rated] over 17 [years of age],” Ari teased in an interview with the UC Santa Barbara’s Associated Students Program Board.

Besides teasing the apparent length of the upcoming movie, Ari didn’t share any other info at the time.

Fans don’t know if Ari is actually telling the truth, since he previously referred to Midsommar as an “apocalyptic break-up movie.”

Midsommar is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video now.
