Casting For Matt James' 'Bachelor' Season Is Already Happening (Report)

Matt James was just announced as The Bachelor for season 25 this morning and it’s reported that his season is already being cast.

A source opened up to US Weekly about the upcoming season and revealed that the casting process is going on now.

“Producers have had their eye on Matt for a while now and always felt he would make a fantastic Bachelor. Had he appeared on The Bachelorette first, it would have been a trial run of sorts and he likely would have been named the next Bachelor anyway,” the insider says. “Matt is very charismatic, funny, charming and goal-oriented — all of the qualities that producers look for in a lead.”

The source adds that the season is in “the early stages of casting the women for Matt’s season are already underway.”

“Several potential contestants had already been contacted prior to today’s announcement.”

Matt was originally going to be on Clare Crawley‘s season of The Bachelorette before he was announced as the new Bachelor.
