Donald Trump Defends His Walking On a Ramp In Viral Video

Donald Trump is defending himself after a video of him walking down a ramp has gone viral.

The video in question showed the 45th President steadying himself at the top of the ramp before taking delicate steps down to the ground following his commencement speech for West Point graduates.

“The ramp that I descended after my West Point Commencement speech was very long & steep, had no handrail and, most importantly, was very slippery,” Trump wrote on Twitter about the video. “The last thing I was going to do is ‘fall’ for the Fake News to have fun with. Final ten feet I ran down to level ground. Momentum!”

Trump has criticized former President Barack Obama in the past for his own ramp walking skills, and one tweet was brought back up as the video spread.

“The way President Obama runs down the stairs of Air Force 1, hopping & bobbing all the way, is so inelegant and unpresidential,” he previously wrote back in 2014. “Do not fall!”

Trump turned 74 on Sunday (June 14).

Just recently, he rescheduled his Tulsa rally because of this reason.
