NBC Renews 'Manifest,' Announces Three Other Shows Are Canceled

NBC has decided the fate of nearly the rest of its lineup for the upcoming season.

Manifest has been renewed for a third season on the network, but three other series have officially been canceled.

The single-camera comedy series Sunnyside, which starred Kal Penn, was pulled from the schedule last year and everyone pretty much knew it was canceled. Now, the network has made the cancellation official.

Bluff City Law, a rookie drama series starring Jimmy Smits, has been canceled after just one season. It wrapped its 10-episode first season last November.

The final series to be canceled was the new comedy series Indebted, which starred Adam Pally and Fran Drescher.

The only series that still is in limbo is the freshman drama series Council of Dads.

Here’s a full recap of all the series that have been renewed or canceled by NBC.
