NYC & Los Angeles Theaters Are Hoping to Re-Open in July

Theaters in two major American cities – Los Angeles and New York City – are hoping they’ll be able to reopen their doors in July.
THR reports that two of the largest movie markets have July 10 circled in red as their target date to resume business.
AMC and Cinemark Theatres are planning similiar openings like Regal Cinemas, who revealed July 10 as the date their doors will reopen in NYC and LA, with all theaters back in business by July 24.
Safety measures for Regal were also revealed and they include two empty seats between groups of patrons (and one in the instance of recliner seats), contactless payment, reduced concessions, cleaning with special equipment and more.
Masks will also be worn in cases where it is required.
Unhinged, with Russell Crowe, and The Broken Hearts Gallery, produced by Selena Gomez, are the first movies set to debut.
