Rachel Lindsay Says There Was a Racist Contestant on Her 'Bachelorette' Season

Rachel Lindsay was The Bachelorette in 2017 and she revealed to Andy Cohen that she “did have a racist contestant on my season.”

During her Watch What Happens Live! appearance, Rachel also spoke about experiencing racism first hand during her time with Bachelor Nation.

“From the audience. I definitely experienced it,” she said. “More so when it came to picking the men, and then at the end, my husband is Colombian, so I got a lot of racism towards the fact that we were in an interracial relationship. Just a lot of nasty messages, trolling.”

As for the racist contestant, fans will remember that one man, Lee Garrett, was outed during her season for his tweets writing disparaging remarks about Black Lives Matter, feminism, the LBGTQ+ community and more.

Rachel also revealed three of her contestants she never wants to see again.
