Three Players from Sacramento Kings Test Positive for COVID-19

It has been announced that three players from the Sacramento Kings have tested positive for COVID-19.

The basketball team announced on Wednesday (June 24) that forward Jabari Parker tested positive for the virus a few days ago.

“Several days ago I tested positive for COVID-19 and immediately self-isolated in Chicago which is where I remain,” Jabari wrote in a statement via Twitter. “I am progressing in my recovery and feeling well.”

Later, The Athletic‘s Shams Charania reported that guard Buddy Hield had also tested positive.

On Wednesday night, center Alex Len released a statement announcing he, too, tested positive.

“I underwent testing yesterday in Sacramento and was found to be positive for COVID-19,” Alex wrote. “I want to thank the Sacramento Kings for their great care and the NBA for putting the protocols in place to allow me to catch this early. I have immediately entered isolation and look forward to being cleared and rejoining my teammates for our playoff push.”
