'Beavis & Butt-Head' Reboot in the Works at Comedy Central!

Beavis and Butt-Head are back.

The iconic animated duo will return with a reboot at Comedy Central courtesy of series creator Mike Judge, the network announced on Wednesday (July 1).

Comedy Central has ordered two seasons of the show, and the deal also includes potential spin-offs and specials.

Mike is set to write, produce and provide the voices for both iconic characters.

“It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again,” he said in a statement.

The original show launched in 1993 on MTV.

“We are thrilled to be working with Mike Judge and the great team at 3 Arts again as we double down on Adult Animation at Comedy Central. Beavis and Butt-Head were a defining voice of a generation, and we can’t wait to watch as they navigate the treacherous waters of a world light-years from their own,” said Viacom exec Chris McCarthy.

Speaking of reboots, this Hollywood blockbuster is also about to get a modern re-imagining.
