Canadian Sports Anchor Dan O'Toole's 1-Month-Old Daughter Is Missing

Dan O’Toole, the host of the Canadian show SportsCentre, says that his one-month-old daughter Oakland has been taken.

The 44-year-old television personality says that his “amazing” ex-wife Corrie O’Toole has “NOTHING to do with” the kidnapping. He told his fans to “please leave her alone.”

“My baby Oakland. I’m praying that whoever has you, is holding you. That whoever has taken you from me, is protecting you. That however has you, let’s you come back into my arms. I love you Oakland. I can’t wait to one day hold you again. My heart is broken. I am broken. To be clear, Oakland is alive, we think. But we don’t know. I have a one month old child, and I don’t know where she is,” Dan wrote on Instagram.

Dan just announced the birth of Oakland a few weeks ago.

In a post on Instagram he wrote, “When you self isolate long enough, you get one of these as a door prize!! Meet Oakland Eleanor Sandra Newman-O’Toole. My brand new lil girl who has a million names, and all of my heart. In case it was ever in doubt, now officially NEVER forgetting 2020.”

We’ll update when more information becomes available, but we’re hoping for the safe return of Oakland.

UPDATE (11:40pm EST): A reporter for Global News, Travis Dhanraj, says he has “confirmed with @DRPS that @tsnotoole’s baby has been located with her mother and is safe. There are no concerns for child’s safety at this point.”

Dan responded to the tweet and said, “Hey Travis. First off, this is not a Durham police matter. Secondly, should the police maybe call me first once my child has been found?”
