Kanye West Announces He's Running for President in 2020

Kanye West just announced that he will be running for president in the 2020 election.

The 43-year-old rapper and entrepreneur tweeted on Saturday night (July 4), “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States 🇺🇸! #2020VISION.”

It seems that Kanye‘s slogan for his presidential campaign might be “2020 Vision.”

After Kanye tweeted about his plans to run for president, Tesla billionaire Elon Musk tweeted his support for the rapper. He wrote, “You have my full support!”

Just a few days ago, Kanye and Elon had a meeting and fans noticed a very interesting detail in the photo that they shared from their time together.

Kanye has previously said that he planned on running for president in 2024 and he has even shown support for Donald Trump in the past, but now it seems he plans on running against the current president.
