Bubba Wallace Responds To Donald Trump's Tweet With Inspiring Message On Hate

Bubba Wallace has responded to Donald Trump‘s tweet which called him out for an apology to NASCAR.

The driver, whose team had found a door handle fashioned into a noose in his garage, and was the driving force behind the sport taking down the Confederate Flag at racing events, reacted to the President’s hateful words towards him.

Trump had also falsely claimed that since the noose incident, viewership was down at the most recent race. In actual fact, the numbers were up.

Bubba responded with an inspiring message to young kids who were watching what was happening in the world now.

“You will always have people testing you. Seeing if they can knock you off your pedestal,” he wrote. “I encourage you to keep your head held high and walk proudly on the path you have chosen.”

Bubba adds, “Never let anybody tell you [that you] can’t do something!…Last thing, always deal with the hate being thrown at you with LOVE! Love over hate every day…even when it’s HATE from the POTUS…”
