Britney Spears' Former Photographer Goes Viral Reading Letter She Allegedly Wrote About Her Conservatorship

The speculation surrounding Britney Spears‘ conservatorship continues.

Photographer Andrew Gallery, who worked with Britney during her 2008 documentary For The Record, came forward in a series of TikTok videos reading a letter that she allegedly gave to him about her conservatorship under her father Jamie Spears, which has continued to be called into question for over a decade, including the more recent “#FreeBritney” movement on social media.

“I’ve been seeing all this stuff about the #FreeBritney movement, and I feel compelled to say something about this now. I used to work with Britney back in 2008, ’09 during her comeback. In that time, we became close friends. We were on tour together, spent every day together for, you know, a while. And in that time, she gave me a letter that she wanted me to read to you guys,” he said, adding that the conservators allegedly “destroyed” the handwritten letter, but he made a copy beforehand.

The letter is written in the third-person, and began with her allegedly discussing an interview ex Kevin Federline did at the time.

“What happened to Britney was a year ago and people need to get with the times. As for Kevin saying Britney divorced him, she was forced to by her lawyers because she went to visit him in N.Y. and he wouldn’t see her and the children and her lawyers said if she doesn’t divorce him he’s going to do it himself,” he read aloud.

“No one knows the truth. Her behavior when her children got taken away b/c of her locking herself in the bathroom is understandable considering her friend at the door kept telling her the cops are leaving don’t worry stay in the bathroom,” she allegedly went on to write in the letter published in the Daily Mail last year, referring to the 2008 incident leading to her hospitalization.

“She was lied to and set up. Her children were taken away and she did spin out of control which any mother would in those circumstances.”

She allegedly went on to say that she “has no rights” and the conservatorship will go on “as long as the people are getting paid…but it doesn’t make it right at all.”

“She’s a very giving person and would love to get the respect she deserves,” the letter concludes.

He added that he spoke out because he was “under a contract” in the late ’00s and was “a little worried about” Britney amid the movement to “free her” from the conservatorship.
