Demi Lovato Laughs About Her 'Awkward' Performance in 'Camp Rock'

Demi Lovato is looking back on her Disney days by re-watching her breakout Disney movie, Camp Rock.

The 27-year-old singer starred in the two films as Mitchie Torres, who attends the camp to hone her musical ability and breaks out of her shell as she gets to know pop star Shane.

Demi took to her Instagram Stories to share part of her re-watching experience with fans, and says that she sees a lot of her younger sister Madison de la Garza in herself.

“It’s crazy when I watch this now I see @maddelagarza,” she wrote on top of the clip she posted.

Demi added, teasing her performance, “The amount of awkward f—ing things I did in this movie…I can’t.”

She also praised one of the film’s songs, “Our Time Is Here”, which features her, Alyson Stoner, and more of the campers.

“This sh— still slaps not gonna lie…,” she says.
