NBA Star Russell Westbrook Diagnosed with Coronavirus

Russell Westbrook has been diagnosed with COVID-19 aka the Coronavirus and he has released a message to his fan base.

The 31-year-old Houston Rockets star posted on Twitter, “I tested positive for covid-19 prior to my team’s departure to Orlando. I’m currently feeling well, quarantined, and looking forward to rejoining my teammates when I am cleared. Thank you all for the well wishes and continued support. Please take this virus seriously.”

He ended his message with, “Be safe. Mask up!”

The NBA is currently being held right now in Orlando with all players quarantined simultaneously so that players can safely play after everyone has tested negative. It looks like Russell will have to wait until he’s cleared in order to play again.
