This Former 'Dancing With The Stars' Contestant Says To Just Cancel The Show After Tom Bergeron & Erin Andrews Firings

A lot of former contestants and stars from Dancing With The Stars are speaking out after hearing about hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews being fired.

The two were informed that they weren’t being asked back to the show on Monday, with Tom breaking the news to his fans on social media.

“Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me,” he wrote. “It’s been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made.”

Later on that same night, it was also confirmed that Erin would not be returning to the show either, as ABC states its going in a different direction for the competition series.

“Spending time with you @Tom_Bergeron was one of my favourite parts of the Dancing With The Stars experience,” Bindi Irwin, who won season 21 with Derek Hough, posted on Twitter. “Thank you so much.”

Sharna Burgess, who was one of the two dancers let go from the show last season, added on her Instagram, “You’re both superstars and I’ve loved both working with you and watching you work. Here’s to all the memories and all the laughs and all the tears with a few scandals, injuries and nip slips thrown in for fun ;) (remember that 🤦🏻‍♀️😂) Cannot wait to see what’s next for you two. Big big love and tons of gratitude 💕💕💕💕.”
