Amber Heard Admits To Hitting Johnny Depp First In Audio Introduced at Trial
Amber Heard uses a red scarf as a mask while leaving the Royal Courts of Justice at The Strand in London, England on Monday (July 20).
The 34-year-old Aquaman actress took the stand to testify against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, amid his libel case against News Group Newspapers (NGN) and the Sun’s executive editor, Dan Wootton, over an article published in 2018 that referred to him as a “wife beater”.
During her testimony, Amber denied drug use claims and also opened up about the nicknames he had for some of her male co-stars.
A recording was also played in court, where Amber can be heard calling Johnny “a f***ing baby” before threatening that she’d hit him.
In the audio, you can hear Amber admit that she was the first to throw a punch at Johnny during one of their fights.
“I’m sorry that I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap, but I was hitting you, it was not punching you,” Amber is overheard saying. “I did not f***ing deck you. I f***ing was hitting you.”
She added, “I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you’re fine, I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you. I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again…God, I f***ing sometimes get so mad, I lose it.”
During a previous court date, one employee stated that this tech CEO visited Amber frequently.
