The 30-year-old singer-songwriter’s latest studio album, Folklore, has Swifties scrambling to find lyrical hints at deeper meanings as with all her records – and they think they might have found a connection to ex Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner!

The moment comes on the song “Invisible String.”

“Cold was the steel of my axe to grind / For the boys who broke my heart / Now I send their babies presents,” she sings on the song.

Fans have been wondering if that lyric is meant to imply that she bought a gift for Joe and Sophie‘s baby, due sometime soon this year.

Joe recently got Swifties riled up when he covered a part of Taylor‘s “Lover” on TikTok. Could this be the latest moment where the two give each other a nod through music?

If you didn’t know, Taylor and Joe dated from July of 2008 to October that year, and she infamously called him out for breaking up with her over the phone. She would later admit a decade later that the choice to mention that on TV was “too much…some teenage stuff.”
