Peter Green Dead - Fleetwood Mac Co-Founder Dies at 73

Peter Green, one of the founding members of the beloved group Fleetwood Mac, has died at the age of 73.
The singer-songwriter and guitarist died peacefully in his sleep, his family said in a statement.
“It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Green announce his death this weekend, peacefully in his sleep,” the statement read (via The Sun). “A further statement will be provided in the coming days.”
Peter helped form the band Fleetwood Mac back in 1967 with Mick Fleetwood, Jeremy Spencer, John McVie, and Bob Brunning. He left the band after just a few years, but he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with them in 1998.
Rolling Stone has Peter ranked at number 58 on its list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time and he has been praised by such musical greats as B.B. King and Eric Clapton.
We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to Peter‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
Just seven months into the year, we’ve already lost so many amazing stars and we’re remembering them all.
