Superman's Black Suit Revealed in Clip from Snyder Cut of 'Justice League'

The Snyder Cut of Justice League is in the works and director Zack Snyder just shared a short clip from the upcoming film!

Snyder was the director on the DC Comics movie Justice League, but he had to withdraw from the film in the middle of production due to a family emergency. Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the film and changed a lot of Snyder‘s original vision. Now, HBO Max will be releasing the Snyder Cut next year.

Zack debuted the clip during an appearance on a JusticeCon panel on Saturday (July 25). In the clip, Henry Cavill‘s Superman is seen meeting up with Jeremy Irons‘ Alfred after coming back from the dead. He is wearing the black suit that was not used in the previously released version of the film. After flying down to ground, Superman says “I’m assuming you’re Alfred.”

During the panel, Zack confirmed that he is restoring the film to the intended aspect ratio of 1:4:3 and he will only use footage that he was there to work on.

“There will be no chance on earth that I will use a shot prior or after I left the movie,” he said. “I would destroy the movie, I would set it on fire before I would use a single frame that I did not photograph. That is a f—ing hard fact.”

One of the stars of Justice League recently claimed that Whedon was “abusive” to the cast and crew of the film.
