Lisa Marie Presley's Ex Michael Lookwood Fears She May 'Relapse' After Death of Her Son

Lisa Marie Presley‘s ex is expressing concerns for her sobriety after the death of her son Benjamin Keough.

Michael Lockwood filed documents on Thursday (July 23) asking the court to strip the 52-year-old singer-songwriter of primary custody, claiming “new and significant concern” over her potentially relapsing, according to The Blast.

Lisa Marie and Michael split in 2016 after 10 years of marriage. They share 11-year-old twin daughters Harper and Finley. The former couple has a divorce and custody trial set for August 3rd.

“Lisa Marie Presley’s son shot and killed himself in her home (Although she was not there at the time.)” the court documents state. “With all due sympathy and respect, this creates a new and unaddressed twofold problem: the safety of the children and the greater likelihood of [Presley] to relapse into drug and alcohol dependency.”

Lisa Marie‘s son Benjamin died earlier this month by suicide. He was only 27. Lisa Marie is reportedly “heartbroken” over his death.
