Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Debuts at No. 1 in the UK!

Taylor Swift is making a huge impact all over the world!

The 30-year-old “cardigan” singer debuted at No. 1 on this week’s Official Albums Chart in the UK, the company confirmed on Friday (July 31).

This is Taylor‘s fifth consecutive No. 1 album in the UK, making her only one of five female artists to have five or more UK No. 1 albums, including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion.

“Taylor’s eighth album was announced just hours before its release last week and tops the chart with streams and downloads only, notching up 37,000 chart sales. 67% of its week 1 total was streams, while 33% was downloads. In the process, Taylor claims the biggest week of album downloads this year, surpassing the opening week of Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By,” the chart company reports. Congratulations, Taylor!
