The country singer-songwriter superstar and American Idol judge is giving fans an inside look with the Story Behind the Song for “For a Boat,” a new track featured on his latest album, Born Here Live Here Die Here, which was just released earlier this month.

“I grew up sitting on a bank, fishing with my grandfather and my papa and my dad,” he explained in the nostalgic clip about the song.

His latest single, “One Margarita,” notched his 25th No. 1 single for two consecutive weeks. He also performed it at the Idol finale. Watch the performance!
