Cardi B Spent This Much Money on Coronavirus Testing For The 'WAP' Music Video

Filming the “WAP” music video was very expensive for Cardi B.
The 27-year-old rapper spoke with i-D magazine and revealed that since they shot the video during a pandemic, it was a requirement for everyone to get tested for COVID-19.
βIt was kind of weird shooting the video in the age of corona,β she shared, and added that she spent “$100,000 just on testing. Everybody on the shoot had to get tested for coronavirus.β
Cardi also mentioned more behind-the-scenes moments from the video, including just how they filmed the scenes with the big cats. Spoiler – they weren’t actually there at the same time.
“We had a tiger and a leopard there, but we didn’t film with them in there because of safety and because of the pandemic,” Cardi adds. “We spliced those scenes together.”
However, the snake was real: “I was naked, and one of them peed all over me.”
Recently, Cardi defended her decision to include this star in the video to fans.
