Meet 'Teenage Bounty Hunters' Star Maddie Phillips with These 10 Fun Facts! (Exclusive)

Maddie Phillips is one of the stars of the new Netflix series Teenage Bounty Hunters, which just launched on the streaming service.

The 25-year-old actress was born and raised in Canada and she moved to Australia with her family when she was 10. She has had small roles on shows like Supernatural, Ghost Wars, and Project Mc².

On Teenage Bounty Hunters, Maddie plays fraternal twin Sterling alongside Anjelica Bette Fellini‘s Blair.

Here is the show’s synopsis: Rebelling against their buttoned-up Southern community, sixteen-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling and Blair Wesley team up with veteran bounty hunter Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison) for an over-the-top adventure as they dive into the world of bail skipping baddies and suburban secrets while trying to navigate high school drama — love, sex, and study hall.

• 1. I went to an all-girls Christian high school in Australia from age 10-18.
• 2. Turn ons include: Possession and frequent use of metal straws, reusable shopping bags and respecting people’s pronouns.
• 3. l can get emotionally attached to pretty much anything. When I was a kid I saw a piece of pasta fall out of the pot and onto the hot stove away from its “family” (?) and I felt so bad for it that I made it a tissue bed and had it “sleep” (?!) next to my bed that night.
• 4. My favorite game at the moment is Reflex by Flex Mami. It’s a self-development, psychology conversation card game one of my best friends in Perth introduced me to.
• 5. Growing up I listened to Harry Potter audiobooks like my entire life depended on it. I listened to it when I woke up, on the way to school, on the way home and while I fell asleep. Jim Dale was probably serving as a father figure now that I think about it. Lmao I love you Jim.

• 6. I grew up zoning out so much that I was tested for epilepsy twice. The doctors put wires on my head and had me stay in the hospital for a week as they monitored me. I kind of loved it to be honest, like please tell me I zone out because I’m connecting to galactic beings in space please! they found nothing both times though so I’m pretty sure I just daydream extremely intensely. Still not ruling out the aliens thing though.
• 7. When I was in Grade 12 I was chosen to direct a play in school and instead of finding a script online I combined my favorite Monty Python sketches and added bits to make it a cohesive story.
• 8. It’s not uncommon for me to go into the forest, hug a tree and cry.
• 9. I am the clumsiest person I know.
• 10. My therapist also tells me about my birth chart. This is why I know that I have a tendency to people please, over share and have an aching need to be loved but I also know that it is amplified by the fact that I have a Libra stellium, yknow what I mean?
