Ana de Armas' Viral Twitter Account Has Been Deactivated

A fan account that was created for Ana de Armas went viral earlier this year thanks to the funny tweets that they would post about all of the actress’ paparazzi sightings. Now, the account has been deactivated.

Back in April, the account made headlines after they revealed Ana had blocked the account on Twitter.

β€œI never meant for my tweets to be mean-spirited or insulting,” the account’s owner said in an interview with Paper. β€œIt was quite the opposite. I started to notice the tweets I made were making the rounds on Twitter and going viral in different places, which leads me to believe that someone that knows her notified her or her management team about the posts. I understand if she or they took it the wrong way, but it was always with good intentions.”

The account was later blocked by the Knives Out account, but then some funny exchanges happened thanks to that moment. Ana starred in that film and received a Golden Globe nomination for her work.

Like many other fan accounts, it’s very possible that Twitter deactivated for copyright reasons as many of these fan pages don’t obtain licenses to share certain photos.
