Angelina Jolie's Lawyer Releases Statement Amid Heated Brad Pitt Divorce

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s divorce has been getting heated in the last few weeks after she asked for the judge to be removed from the case.

The reason for the removal is that the judge allegedly has a business relationship with one of Brad‘s attorneys and he failed to disclose this information in a timely manner. Brad responded to Angelina‘s request and said she “has never objected to [their judge's] continued involvement in this proceeding until now.”

“All my client is asking for is a fair trial based on facts, with no special favors extended to either side,” Angelina‘s lawyer Samantha Bley DeJean said in a statement to Us Weekly. “The only way litigants can trust the process is for everyone involved to ensure that there’s transparency and impartiality.”
