Sara Ramirez Identifies As Gender Non-Binary With New Instagram

Sara Ramirez has come out as a non-binary person.

The 44-year-old former Grey’s Anatomy star made the announcement on their Instagram this afternoon.

“New profile pic. In me is the capacity to be Girlish boy, Boyish girl, Boyish boy, Girlish girl, All, Neither.”

Sara added the hashtag “#nonbinary” with a handful of colorful hearts: “♥️💛🤍💜🖤♥️”

Sara also updated her Instagram bio to read that their pronouns are she/her and they/them.

It’s been almost four years since Sara came out as bisexual, during the 40 To None summit.
