Chadwick Boseman Told Very Few People of His Cancer Diagnosis, New Report Says

A new report has emerged about Chadwick Boseman‘s private battle with colon cancer and who in his inner circle knew about his diagnosis.

According to a new report by THR, Chadwick, who tragically passed at the age of 43 on August 28, he wished to keep his diagnosis private apart from members of his family.

According to sources, “Only a handful of non-family members knew that Boseman was sick, including producing partner Logan Coles, longtime agent Michael Greene, trainer Addison Henderson and 42 director Brian Helgeland — with varying degrees of knowledge about the severity of the actor’s condition. No one involved with Black Panther was aware, says a source.”

Marvel’s chief creative officer Kevin Feige did not find out about the tragic news until August 28, the day of his death, the report suggests.

Chadwick made seven films while privately battling cancer.
