Ellen DeGeneres Addresses Recent Controversy While Announcing New Season of Talk Show

Ellen DeGeneres just announced the return of her talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and she addressed the recent controversy in her statement.

The talk show will return on Monday, September 21 for Season 18. The show will resume filming in the studio on the Warner Bros. lot without an in-studio audience.

“I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio. And, yes, we’re gonna talk about it,” Ellen said in a statement while announcing the new season.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this summer, you’re aware that Ellen has been facing a lot of backlash due to an alleged toxic workplace at her show. In recent weeks, several execs were fired and Ellen promised her staff that things will change.
