Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Perform New Song On a Green Screen at ACM Awards 2020
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton weren’t able to make it to Nashville for the 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards, so they appeared at the historic Bluebird Cafe virtually!
The longtime couple showed fans how they were performing on a green screen, which transported them into the Bluebird Cafe, during the show, which aired on Wednesday (September 16).
Gwen and Blake performed their brand new song “Happy Anywhere” during the awards show.
“Gwen and I wish that we could be in Nashville tonight, but we couldn’t,” Blake said. He then snapped his fingers and said, “But, through the magic of television, voila! Welcome back to the Bluebird Cafe, everybody.”
The song “Happy Anywhere” was released over the summer and this is one of their first televised performances of the single.
