Donald Trump Says He's Leaving Hospital Later Tonight
Donald Trump has been ill with COVID-19 aka the Coronavirus, and he has been hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center for several days.
Now, he has announced that he will be leaving the hospital at 6:30 pm this evening.
“I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good!,” he posted on his Twitter account.
The president then added, “Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
According to the CDC, “There are no drugs or other therapeutics presently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to prevent or treat COVID-19.”
Another member of the White House staff was just diagnosed with the virus today.
