'Jurassic World: Dominion' Stops Production After Positive Coronavirus Tests

Just weeks after it kicked off production again, Jurassic World: Dominion has had to shut down once more.

The news comes straight from director Colin Trevorrow, who tweeted that a “few” members of the team tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Woke up to the news we had a few positive Coronavirus tests on Jurassic World: Dominion,” he wrote. “All tested negative shortly after, but due to our safety protocols we’re going to pause for two weeks. Back soon.”

Bryce Dallas Howard, who stars as Claire Dearing in the franchise opposite Chris Pratt, took to Instagram thanking the director for “prioritizing health and safety above all else.”

“Looking forward to finishing this up strong — I’ve never been more excited for a movie in my life,” she added.

Jurassic World: Dominion was one of the films that had been pushed back in its release due to shifting schedules, closed theaters, and of course, the pandemic.

See when the film is set to be released now…
