Joshua Jackson Replaces Jamie Dornan in Title Role of Peacock's 'Dr. Death'

Joshua Jackson is taking over the title role of Dr. Death for Jamie Dornan.

The Wrap reports that due to coronavirus pandemic delays in the production, Jamie is no longer able to participate in Peacock’s adaption of Dr. Death.

Expected to start production this fall, Dr. Death is based on the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a rising star in the Dallas medical community. Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed.

Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead.

Joshua joins Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater in the series.
