The counts are still coming in, and Joe Biden is edging closer to victory.

The 77-year-old Democratic nominee was called as winning Wisconsin by CNN on Wednesday afternoon (November 4) following Election Day, furthering an electoral college majority over Donald Trump.

Trump and his campaign already say they will request a recount in the state, where Biden has a lead of about 20,000 votes. The Trump campaign also said that it filed a lawsuit in Michigan to halt vote counting until they can gain access to numerous locations to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process, according to Deadline.

Biden is already making history: the former Vice President officially broke the record for most votes ever received by a candidate in United States history. Find out more about his tally thus far…

The votes continue to be tallied through Wednesday (November 4) – find out how to watch the results coming in live.
