Celebs React to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's Shocking Claim That Trump Will Have a Second Term Despite Losing Election

Celebrities, journalists and politicians are reacting to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo‘s shocking statements.
The 56-year-old official addressed the question of a transition to President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday (November 10), and his answer is making headlines.
“There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration. We’re ready. The world is watching what’s taking place. We’re going to count all the votes,” he said, despite the fact that Trump was not declared the projected winner.
“When the process is complete there’ll be electors selected, there’s a process the Constitution lays it out pretty clearly. The world should have every confidence that the transition necessary to make sure that the State Department is functional today, successful today, and successful with the president who’s in office on January 20th,” he continued.
“Biden won the popular vote. Biden won the electoral college. Every vote was counted. No illegitimate votes were counted. Sure, recount the close ones if you want. But what Pompeo is implying here is a coup. A fascist coup,” wrote Sarah Silverman.
“Hey media, it’s called #facism – start saying it out loud,” said Josh Gad.

See the reactions to his statement…
Some people are going to say Pompeo is joking or trolling. First, the Secretary of State shouldn't be joking about this stuff. Second, he is responsible for pushing other nations, on behalf of the United States, to conduct free and fair elections…why should anyone listen now? pic.twitter.com/ck6tzSzNmi

It has stopped being funny now. Whether they have any chance of succeeding or not, the damage they’re doing to half of the country’s faith in democracy is irreparable and dangerous. Civil war shit. Meanwhile they’re telling Dems “it’s time to reach out and work together.” https://t.co/CmuKIioumf

This is deeply irresponsible. The people have voted. Democracy depends on accepting the results of those elections. Pompeo is pouring gasoline on a very dangerous fire. It is time for Republican leaders to stand up for our democracy and reject this partisan nihilism. https://t.co/RRW8LdbPyX

It is not a close election. There is no legitimate way that this gets overturned. If they get this in front of SCOTUS somehow, they’re counting on the Trump-installed justices to hand it to them. https://t.co/y1jh3ytMBW

At what point should other nations get involved? Cause that dude lost the election by a huge margin. They gonna have to feel their feelings and move on. https://t.co/SR6Il8TvK3

As I said months ago, Mike Pompeo is running for president in 2024.
Every word he says is based on the dream or winning Trump voters.

Might Pompeo point us to a state on the map where there's evidence of widespread voter fraud? https://t.co/Hg6hcO8wGO

Impeach Trump, Pompeo & Barr now, Congress.
Like, this week.
Because they're either really doing this, or just humoring Trump. https://t.co/UsO6N9om80— John Fugelsang (@JohnFugelsang) November 10, 2020
This comment by @SecPompeo is incredibly dangerous and reckless. As our top diplomat and America’s representative to the world, to suggest that there was voter fraud is inappropriate to say the least. You will be out come January 20, Pompeo.
