President-Elect Joe Biden Reveals His Thanksgiving Plans Amid Pandemic

Joe Biden is revealing how he plans to spend Thanksgiving amid the pandemic.

The 77-year-old President of the United States opened up about his holiday plans amid the COVID-19 outbreak during a news conference on Monday (November 16).

During the conference, he revealed that he and his family are planning a get-together of no more than 10 people, per health guidelines, and all will be wearing masks, socially distanced and tested beforehand.

“I just want to make sure we’re able to be together next Thanksgiving, next Christmas,” he explained.

There have been over 246,879 deaths from the virus so far this year out of 11.2 million cases, according to a New York Times tracker.

“There should be no group of more than 10 people in one room inside the home. That’s what they’re telling me,” he went on to say.

“Limit it to a maximum of 10 people, socially distanced and wearing masks…I would strongly urge — not just for your sake, but for the sake of your children, your mother, your father, your sisters, your brothers, whoever you get together with for Thanksgiving — to think about this,” he continued.

Here’s when Dr. Anthony Fauci estimated American life might return to relative normalcy.
