Disney Might Be Sending Three Highly Anticipated Movies to Disney+ Instead of Theaters

You might have some great new movies to watch on Disney+ in the near future!

With the changing landscape for theatrical movie releases, Disney is reportedly considering putting three highly anticipated live-action remakes on the streaming service instead of in theaters.

Deadline reports that films being discussed for the movie to Disney+ include Cruella, Pinocchio, and Peter Pan and Wendy.

Cruella is a live-action re-imagining of 101 Dalmatians starring Emma Stone as the iconic villain. Pinocchio will be directed by Robert Zemeckis and star Tom Hanks as Geppeto. The upcoming Peter Pan and Wendy film will featured Yara Shahidi in the role of Tinker Bell.

The outlet reports that some of the movies might be released at a premium charge, the way Disney released Mulan on the streaming service. The upcoming Pixar movie Soul will be released to subscribers for free next month.

Disney movies were trending on Twitter last weekend after someone asked a viral question.
