Anthony Mackie Is Set To Star in 'The Ogun' Thriller Movie For Netflix

Anthony Mackie just linked up with Netflix for a major action thriller movie.

The -year-old actor will star in The Ogun for the streaming giant, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He’ll also produce the movie as well.

The Ogun will center on a man named Xavier Rhodes who brings his teenage daughter to Nigeria to find a cure for the rare genetic condition that he passed on to her.

But, when his daughter is kidnapped, Rhodes goes on a rampage through the criminal underworld to find her before it’s too late, testing his powerful abilities to the limit.

The project, which is written by Madison Turner, is being described as a cross of Dante’s Inferno with John Wick.
