Peter Dinklage Will Star As 'Toxic Avenger' in Reboot Movie

Peter Dinklage has lined up his next project with Toxic Avenger.

Deadline reports that the Emmy-winning actor will star as the title character in the movie from Legendary studios.

The movie will be a contemporary reimagining the 1984 action comedy flick.

The Toxic Avenger is “a struggling everyman, who is pushed into a vat of toxic waste, and is transformed into a mutant freak”.

From there, he must go from shunned outcast to underdog hero as he races to save his son, his friends and his community from the forces of corruption and greed.

Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz will serve as producers on the upcoming movie, with Macon Blair directing.
