ABC's 'Big Sky' Gets Full Season Order After Boom in Ratings
ABC’s Big Sky is getting a full season!
The network has ordered six additional episodes for the drama series, which stars Kylie Bunbury and Katheryn Winnick in the lead roles.
THR reports that the show, based on C.J. Box‘s novel has had decent ratings for initial runs. However, the show has really taken off in delayed and multiplatform viewing, and the premiere grew to 10.8 million viewers across all platforms after a week.
Big Sky focuses on a private detective (Bunbury) and an ex-cop (Winnick) who work together to solve a string of abductions in Montana.

The show also stars Brian Geraghty, Dedee Pfeiffer, Natalie Alyn Lind, Jade Pettyjohn, Jesse James Keitel, Valerie Mahaffey, John Carroll Lynch and Ryan Phillippe.
