R&B Singer Ann Marie Arrested in Atlanta After Allegedly Shooting a Man

Ann Marie, an R&B singer who is based out of Chicago, has been arrested in connection to a shooting that took place at a hotel in Atlanta.

The victim was a 24-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound to the head. The shooting happened on December 1 and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was last listed as being in critical condition.

Ann Marie was at the scene and she told an officer that “a gun fell off of a table in the hotel room which caused the gun to go off hitting the victim,” according to the local CBS outlet.

The report says that Ann Marie was “screaming hysterically” and had to be removed from the scene. She told officers that she and the victim were visiting Atlanta from Chicago and that they grew up together.

Ann Marie was booked “for possession of a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.”
