Jaimie Alexander To Return as Lady Sif For 'Thor: Love and Thunder'!
Jaimie Alexander is coming back to Asgard.
Deadline has revealed that the 36-year-old actress will return in the role of Sif for Thor: Love and Thunder.
Sif is a decorated warrior of the mythical land, and a good friend to the Warriors Three and to Thor. She possesses many powers including superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, durability, and is extremely long-lived.
It was reported that Sif was among the many who died when Thanos completed the Infinity Gauntlet and wiped out half the life in the universe. However, she was resurrected by Hulk and the other Avengers.
“Yes, once upon a time I was able to do that and I might have to do that again in the future so hopefully I haven’t lost that gift,” Jaimie teased fans earlier this year when asked if she’d be up to return. “What am I working on now? I do wish I could tell you, but I would probably cease to exist, don’t you think, if I actually told what I have coming up, so I can’t tell you guys but thanks for asking anyway!”
Jaimie returned in the role in Thor: Ragnarok and in two episodes of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She also might pop up on the upcoming Disney+ series, Loki.
Thor: Love and Thunder is now scheduled to hit theaters May 6, 2022. If you didn’t see, check out all the release dates for the Marvel projects here!
