Meghan Markle Got Prince William A Funny Gag Gift For Her First Christmas With The Royal Family

Meghan Markle spent her first Christmas with the British royal family in 2017, and broke the ice with a funny gag gift for Prince William.

There is a decades long tradition in the royal family where they gift each other inexpensive gag gifts. Princess Anne once gave older brother Prince Charles a leather toilet seat and Kate Middleton actually gave Prince Harry a “Grow Your Own Girlfriend” kit.

Queen Elizabeth is also in on the gag gift giving and receiving. Prince Harry once got her a “Ain’t Life a B****?’ shower cap, while Prince William also got a set of china that was Winnie the Pooh themed.

In “Finding Freedom”, it’s reported that Meghan didn’t miss a beat with the gag gifts for her first year.

She gifted a “huge hit—a spoon for William that had ‘cereal killer’ embossed on the shallow bowl end of the utensil.”

Another big gag gift hit for her was a stuffed hamster that sings, and she gave that to the Queen!

It was revealed just last week that Meghan and Harry have exchanged gifts already with William and Kate, sending them ahead of the holidays, where they’ll all be apart this year.
