Explosion in Nashville on Christmas Morning, Cassadee Pope Tweets About Feeling It at Home
There was an explosion in downtown Nashville on early Christmas morning and The Voice winner Cassadee Pope is opening up about what it felt like at home.
The explosion happened at around 6:30am and police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle before the explosion occurred. The hazardous devices unit were already en route to the scene when the explosion happened.
Police say that three people were hospitalized with injuries and they believe the explosion was an “intentional act” sparked by a vehicle, according to The Tennessean.
“Our house shook here in Nashville. Following the info on socials and the news but just praying nobody was hurt. Seems like it was an explosion of some sort downtown. F–king 2020 π,” Cassadee tweeted after the explosion.
