Boxer Ryan Garcia Wears Designer Underwear for Weigh-In Ahead of Lightweight Title Fight

Ryan Garcia stands on the scale during a weigh-in for the upcoming WBC Lightweight Title Fight on Friday (January 1) at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Tex.

The 22-year-old boxer will be facing off against 2012 Olympic gold medalist and two-time title challenger Luke Campbell on Saturday night.

The fight was originally supposed to take place in December, but Luke, 33, tested positive for COVID-19.

“I’m going to be the best fighter in the world for this next era,” Ryan previously said while promoting the fight (via CBS Sports). “This is probably how it was supposed to be written. This is how the stars are aligning. I get everybody around the whole world to watch and this is what I have always wanted to do, which is inspire the whole world. This is the perfect opportunity to do it. Luke Campbell, it’s inevitable for him. He’s just going to get his ass whooped. Whether it’s December or Jan. 2, his fate is the same.”
