Taylor Swift's 'folklore' Album Ends 2020 As The #1 Album Of The Year

Taylor Swift‘s folklore just scored a big record – it’s the number one album of 2020!

Variety reports that the 31-year-old musician’s first album during the year brought in 2.3 million album units, just over Lil Baby’s sophomore album, My Turn, which ended at 2.1 million.

Rolling Stone first announced the news, and broke down the year’s music consumption data on their website.

Taylor‘s folklore spawned a lot of hits, including “The 1″, “Cardigan”, “The Last Great American Dynasty” and “Exile”.

Her second album of the year, evermore, landed at number 63 on the list.

evermore has earned quite a few accolades on the chart, grabbing the #1 spot on the Billboard 200, and the single, “Willow” took over the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.

If you missed it, Taylor confirmed this fan theory about folklore that fans have been talking about since the summer.
